Why is your card changing?

From time to time Sky needs to replace Sky viewing cards with brand new ones to ensure you receive a secure and up-to-date service.

Over the next few months replacement cards will be sent out attached to a mailer like the one show below.

Who will receive a new Sky viewing card?

Sky will be replacing all Pay TV providers' viewing cards.

If you do not subscribe to a Pay TV provider, but use a Sky viewing card to access free-to-air channels, you won't automatically receive a replacement card. However, over the next few months you'll receive a message on your TV screen with instructions on how you can obtain a new card.

When do you need to change your card?

Your new Sky viewing card will be sent out over the next few months. As soon as it arrives, replace your existing card with the new card to avoid any interruption to your viewing. Instructions come with your replacement card and it should take less than a minute.

Sky subscribers outside the UK or ROI

If you subscribe to sky and do not live in the UK or ROI it may be difficult for you to obtain your replacement card.

If you subscribe to a friend or a member of your family, please contact them now for them to be prepared. If you subscribe through an agency, make 100% sure they will be able to send your new replacement card. If you need a replacement card and your provider cannot get you one, please click here.
